Applications are now open for Faculty funding for the 2016 Indigenous Course Enrichment Project.

An Indigenous Course Enrichment Project commenced this year in the Faculty and University, in order to enrich our current and future courses and programs with Indigenous knowledge and perspectives. Many areas in the Faculty have already developed ideas relevant to this project, and we are now calling for proposals for 2016 funding.

Up to $10 000 is available within the Faculty to support ideas for enrichment in our courses and programs in 2016.

Ideas might include: piloting new content or delivery of Indigenous knowledge or perspectives; engaging with external community members to inform new curriculum or to provide guest teaching; developing a new SGDE; developing a study tour; developing a new online resource.

Ideas should aim to be sustainable beyond the funding, and funding should be used to support course enrichment beyond what is required for external course/program accreditation.

Both undergraduate and postgraduate courses are eligible.

To apply, please download and complete the spreadsheet for your course(s) and send to Dr Shona Crabb (Associate Dean (Gender, Equity & Diversity)) by Friday December 18.
